Explore the studio
“Stop Motion Animation” is a traditional shooting way where the puppets and props (and sometimes the camera itself) are moved in very small measurements between individually photographed frames. To make a variety of TV commercials, TV programs, such as “Domo” or films like “ Komaneko” and even photo books using this technique, we set up dwarf as a Stop Motion Animation Studio. We moved into a garage, got the equipment we needed and set up three studios, a workshop and even a meeting room to talk about all our ideas. At our studio and office, we love to meet new challenges everyday through our work and creations- everything from TV commercials to hi-vision programs and films. And here’s a little secret- if you put together the first Japanese characters of the words "Dwarf" and "Studio" you’ll get the nickname we all use for our playground, "Dosta."
