dwarf is good at “Stop Motion Animation”, as well as “Character Design”.
“Stop Motion Animation” is a traditional shooting way where the puppets
(and sometimes the camera itself) are moved in very small amounts
between individually photographed frames. “Domo” and ”Komaneko”,
“Wallace and Gromit”, “The Nightmare Before Christmas”,
and “PINGU”, are all filmed using this technique.
In “Stop Motion Animation”, there is "Puppet Animation”,
where puppets are mainly used.
Also there is “Clay Animation”,where clay are used in large part.
“Stop Motion Animation” is created frame-by-frame,
hence the term “komadori”; “koma” meaning “frame”,
and “dori” meaning “to take a picture”.

Placing sets, setting up the lighting, and taking a picture, a new world comes along. And the moment a puppet moves, a story and a scene are born. This is a hand-made world from the sky, the mountain, and the sun, to the movement and the expression. That’s why we can make warm movies which never seem to get old.

dwarf has an animator, and a “Stop Motion Animation” studio. Please feel free to ask us anything if you become interested in “Stop Motion Animation”.
